The 5th International Symposium on Multimodal Transportation (ISMT2023) and the 2nd China Dual Laws Research Association Multimodal Transport Sub-Association Annual Conference will be held in Dalian from July 19th to 21st, 2023. The conference is jointly organized by the Northeast Asia International Shipping Center Research Institute of Dalian and the Comprehensive Transport and Transportation Collaborative Innovation Center of Dalian Maritime University, and co-organized by the Traffic Research Center of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the National University of Singapore, the School of Transportation of Southeast University, and the Innovation Introduction and Talent Cultivation Base of Higher Education Institutions. The theme of the conference is Intelligence, Resilience, and Interconnectivity. Academic experts such as Professor Yang Hai from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Meng Qiang from the National University of Singapore, and Professor Yin Yafeng from the University of Michigan have been invited to attend, attracting more than 100 representatives of teachers and students from home and abroad.
Several scholars from our school attended the conference and gave presentations, including Professor Liu Zhiyuan, Professor Zhang Yong, Associate Researcher Gu Ziyuan, Associate Researcher Huang Di, Associate Researcher Cheng Cheng, Postdoctoral Fellow Ma Jie, and Postdoctoral Fellow Tang Tianli. Five best papers were selected at the conference, and the paper A data-driven framework for natural feature profile of public transport ridership: Insights from Suzhou and Lianyungang, China by Dr. Tang Tianli was awarded this honor.
