The Summer Camp of outstanding students and Summer School for graduates of School of Transportation opens online on July 26th, aiming to boost academic communication between outstanding students in Chinese universities, improve their knowledge for our school's majors, and to select outstanding students to join the school.
Firstly, dean professor Chen Jun gave a welcoming speech to express gratitude to all the students and teachers. Later vice dean professor Ma Tao introduced school's history, departments, academic resources, platfoms and labs, international communication, and talent cultivation, which made good demonstration about enrollment each year. Luo Lei introduced school's students' culture and activities, Ji Junyi made a local tour into Nanjing city. Finally professor Yang Ming made a brief introduction on the comming events for the summer camp.
According to data, more than 300 students from 30 Chinese univeristies participate in the summer camp, more than 100 master students join the summer scholl program, 70 of them will be delivering reports. These students come from 985 universites and double first-class universities. The activity will last a week from July 26th the 30th, becoming an academic feast of school of transportation.
